I give it a 110 % all year. When not, I am just me. Have a look at my world!

Pick-up

From rain to nice looking weather. Nice Friday evening in Lillehammer.

Drove up to pick up Ida from her 10 hour shift at work. She was kind of tired, I can totally see why.

Just testing my new nikon coolpix, and checking the weather!

This one got a little dark. But the guy on the shot seems to be saticfied with having a day off!

Off to watch Entourage. I just had to jump on the wave. Seems like everyone else is watching it, so what the hell...

King of the road

Jumped into the car again this morning. It was time to get back to Lillehammer, had to work Saturday. So there was nothing else to do than brake up my "wannabe vacation".
Back on the road, I like driving cars, so it doesn't matter if I have to drive 400 km, again.

Just for fun really! I know the road I am driving in and out. I think it has been 25-30 times in the last 4 years.

Norway is a beautiful country, no matter what. I don't tend to see what the nature has to offer when I see it every day, all year. But I can see why german, chinese, japanese and american tourists come all the way here to see the nature.
The new black sheeps, only they are white. The mountainpass of Venabygdsfjellet has a lot of them. To much... Scary to drive speedy up there with them lying around.

When I had parked the car outside my house I saw my summer-rail gear. Got super-pumped to go for a session. Hopefully they get some snow soon, then it's game on for my rail-skills to grow!

Picked up my new camera one hour ago, and I like it a lot! Guess pictures are everything in a blog. Don't you agree? Yes you do!

Ping-pong ball

Since I only got two days at home, I really wanted to do as much as possible when I first were in the hood.

Started of with some easy trampolining, but it's been I while and I realized I suck! Doing things you know how to, rocks! But things you do a lot and then give it a long break, doesn't seem to be just as much fun. So I left the trampoline the way I found her, deserted.
Frustrated feeling. Have you ever been doing something you like a lot, and been asking yourself the question why you are doing this? Why do I do it when it's more dangerous than fun? I kept asking these questions a lot today, and it doesn't help surfing facebook/youtube for videos these days.

14 year olds throwing triple backs like there is no tomorrow. While I, on the other hand.... give her my best shot with a 1,5 meter high bio-ish trick. Better not post it on NS.com, hate is all they got!

Went down to a friend, left the trampoline carreer blank and open. He has got the sickest home stereo system by far. Love the sound of fresh beats!

When I first started my: "let's-go-visit-old-friends" mercury, I thought I could pay my cousin and her family a nice visit. This girl right here leaves Norway behind in a month, for 4 fresh months in sunny Brazil. Surf and beach volley as far as it goes! Must be soft!

I need to get some sleep, feels like I never relax these days, looking foreward to winter when I can be my own boss. Got 400 km to drive tomorrow morning. I pray for snow outside the ice-ring!!

400 km later vol 2. - The car!

I have been waiting a few weeks in exitement, just to get home to see this car. Outiside it's nothing special, original Audi S2 from 1991. It's an old car, looks pretty much the same as a Audi 90 coupe. BUT, this one has something special under the hood. Nearly 300 horsepower and a pretty nice car sound.

Just a "small" horn to blow out the air from the turbo-pressure. This one makes a loud wistle-sound. Me like!

When I visited Lars, my friend and lucky owner of this car, he was busy mounting the turbo-charger meter.

As I said, nothing special outside, but inside it's a quite different feeling with sports-interior and the sound of a race-car. Can't wait until he gets the new exaust-system. It's going to be swell!!
To be honest, it was worth driving 400 km to be a passenger on this car!

Gotta go sleep, have to get up at 8.00 A.M baaaaah....

Getting done

I got home from work last night and started right away, finishing the wall to Ida's storage room/ guest room. It was a little more work than first expected, but that's just because I am new to this subject.

After putting on the panel on one side, I stuffed it with isolation, and started to put boards on the other side. Really easy when you got the lengths right.

So this is what it looks like right now. All I have to do is to adjust two boards that goes next to the wall. Secondly I need to fill in a few boards on the left side, so the door would fit in. I am not a carpenter. But if some of you are, please leave a comment telling me if it's approved or not. Did I pass the test? Let me know!

Wasn't exactly happy with beeing inside a dark warm room when it was warm outside, and sunny!! That has to be the first day in three weeks, sucky summer.

Today I am working half-day, and jumping into the car at 2 PM. Driving home to meet my family, and take care of some personal stuff. Then it's back to Lillehammer on Friday. Looking foreward to hit my rail this weekend. Hopefully they have got snow at the ice-ring!

Jon were out enjoying the city-life in Cannes last night, just "stumbling" over one of the top 5 dj's in the world!! Joachim Guarraud from France.,, Jon if you can hear me, you don't know how lucky you are! Beeing able to watch one of my great idols live.

Damn...

Perfect crafts-man

Well, well, well. I'm not much of a craftsman, I'm a skier who does tricks on skis. But you know, the ladies want things to look good, and they want a place to store their clothes. So today I had to try to end my little inside project.

Pick up your tools man, get it done!

Well, this is new to me, so it's a little learning-by-doing task. Not the right setting to be a failure here. Everything has to be in correct angels and correct lengths, when you are building a wall.

A few easy steps to build an indoor wall:
- Make sure you have got enough coffee.
- Don't rush it, you might end up braking the walls rather than building them up.
- Play music, the type you like, then play it loud!
- Pick up the drill/ hammer, and pray that the planks knock them self up against the wall!

And there you go, your very own homemade wall.

It's pouring down rain, so I should have been outside hitting my rail set-up. BUT, it didn't happend. I call it a day, and hopefully i'm going to dream about perfect parks and winter tonight.. gaah. I wanna go skiing.

Big plans

As you might understood allready; My cast is off, and I am off to do things I like. Like this video for instance.
It's a place just 2 km from were I have lived most my life. BUT. I am trying to find places like this elsewhere. Do you know of
a place like this? Cliffdiving spot? It has to be deep enough with water underneath the cliff so my feet don't touch the ground, and it has
to be atleast 7-8 metres and higher!

Please, tell me!

A nice little visit

Last night when me and Ida were watching a movie on TV, I felt like having a pizza. Fortunately, Ida's friend work as a driver for a pizza-hut in the city, so she brought me one after work. Thanks! And she brought her car. A 218 HP Mini v3 with full body and exterior kit. This car is like a train on a track while driving on tarmack. You can't go wrong with this mini-racer. I love it!

I could talk about cars all day. What do you wan't me to talk about?

The big day!!

Well, the reason why this is a big day is partly 1. I got to finish off my rail-project.
2. I removed my cast!!!
It wasn't really planned to take it off two days early, but it had no function anymore. But GASH, what a relief!!

3,2,1 aaand there you go! I can't really describe with words how good it felt, especially to wash my arm afterwards.

My rail-project has been put on hold for allmost a month now, but today, I made it happen.

This is how it looks, a bit skew, but good enough to perform on! Easy set-up, but great fun.

There were no snow at the ice-hockey stadium, so I had to carry many buckets with water and soap to forfill my dream. ( My own training facility in my own back-yard).

First k-fed of the year. HARD to ski on plastic with edges on the skis, but on the rail it's allright. Only thing, I couldn't do whatever I liked since my arm was fresh out from the cast, and I wouldn't risk braking it up again.

Walking in the heat with the gear on, it's worth it, don't you think!?

Getting the balance for the first time this summer.

Now I am off to chill in the sun, and get some tan on my arm. This has been the best day since ever. Now I understand why it's the small things in life that counts, nothing beats the feeling of doing what you like the most in life.

I see you soon, SRH.

City life

Well, this was at my and Ida's place last night. Pre-party before going out on Brenneriet nightclub here in Lillehammer. A little nice get together. Everybody were dressed in white, just to top things off.

Rocking with the best! Close friends having a good time!

Lift off! Me having a good time. When working my ass off all week + Saturdays, it's really nice to relax with a party every now and then. I'm not doing it very often, and people don't get it. But the reason is simple; When I'm in a good shape, I don't tend to go out and ruin the whole thing.

I had a plan last night, take it easy, have fun. Cause today was supposed to be the "day off" for me, doing what I don't manage to do the rest of the week.

Has to be done

I went out for jog this afternoon, felt kind of slack after sitting at home every afternoon all week, beeing bummed out from working all day. Also I bought a new cap I am quite saticified with. White one.

No secret that I have become a fan of the healthy living, in a healthy way, not the obsessed way! Important to have all your meals best possible. That's why I take a protein shake or vitamins to stay in shape while working out. Many people keep telling me that is not good for you and so on....That is bullshit. When you work out hard, you need atleast 2-2,5 grams of protein pr. kg of bodyweight. That is to build up the things you have allready torn down while excersising.
Nuff said.

Tired, but happy that I went out. It's hard, but good for the body. Can't wait to do a switch 540 trucker againg though, skiing IS my life. Even though I do a lot of different things in summertime.

I actually met Anders Backe in Lillehammer today. He is up here golfing with his cousin.
Hopefully I get an invite to his beautiful backyard waterramp facility!

Friday - but still not weekend

Friday has come early, but it doesn't matter when I am working most of the week, even saturdays. Looking foreward to some partying and chillout at home.
Well deserved I think.

Ida bought these fancy boots from Denmark the other day. They are fancy and all that, but she couldn't get them off. Haha. You got to suffer if you want keep up with whats hot or not.
I guess?

Cooking dinner doesn't have to be booring if you make something you love. And I loooove chicken. Mmmm.

Geeking, part of everybodies everyday theese days?
I wanna go skiing!! Who's got snow?

Cast it away!

It is nearly 5 weeks since I knocked my arm into a wall and broke the knuckle on the little finger. Imbarrassing moment, I know. But what is done, IS done! No looking back in life, then you might regret half of it, and change course. And we don't wan't to do that, do we?

If my counting has been correct, it is now 4 days til the cast will come off, and it's going to be a great relief!

Here are some things I wan't to do when I've got both hands free:
- Cliff-diving / Diving in a pool
- Summer-rail
- Work out in the gym again
- Wash my hands
- Take a shower more often
- Possibly go surfing in the autumn
- Ski on a glacier, possibly Juvass
- Pay Anders Murud a visit, jump trampoline.

I am off to work. But I have bought a fresh photocamera, so this year will be photo-packed!! Yeah. Srh.

Steffen-Air

YES! It's silly, but this is what it would look like if RyanAir can have it their way with standing in upright possition for half-price/half-comfort. And with my travel-budget this reality is closer than you think! The flights with less than 1,5 hour duration could be equipted with standing seats in a year or two. It's not a joke, it's for real!

I have been working my ass off this week, and next week will be the same. Hopefully I will have some more fun next week, when the cast come off.

Download the mix

First of all, don't judge me. I am newbeginner, and just lives for the music, this is NOT something I do for a living.
Far far from it.

BUT. Since I love music so much, I thought I might as well give you a taste of what's on my ipod and in my car most of the year. Not typically for a skier, I know.

This is a half-an-hour mix I did on the fly (no planning) this evening. A great hobby, you should try it! I would love to hear it if some of you are into this, probably not.

Fresh and Delivered

Today I got my monster-delivery from www.TN.no. As I work out a lot in summertime, and skiing minimal I need a lot of food. Food costs a lot of money, and it is not really a possibility to eat steak 6 times a day. BUT, I need nutrition in some way. TN's got a lot of stash to eat when your in a hurry, but still keeps you healthy.

This is our cat and Ida's parents dog. This is like the hulk vs catwoman. Haha, but they are nice to eachother most of the time. The cat needs to grow up, it is acting like it's on speed most of the time.

The Red Dragon is on Tv, gotta see the rest of it. Got the whole house for myself, since Ida is away for some hours.

Peace.
